Travel Photographer Craig Wells contacted by the management of the Kimberley Pearl to discuss the possibility of shooting a virtual tour and a week of photography of this amazing vessel.
Naturally when we were told that when other photographers had said “It was impossible to shoot a boat on the open water”…we were “on board” straight away!!
Tasked with an impossible mission we set sail..well not quite, we fired up the mighty Kimberley Pearl and headed off to sea for a half day adventure. Lucky for us the weather was perfect and the location was amazing, at the completion of the photo shoot we had a virtual tour that had over 240 images taken and nearly 6gb of data to work with.
14 days later the final product was delivered to the client and soon after that, the virtual tour was embedded into their website.
Craig’s next mission after that was to join the Skipper and Crew on a 7 day Kimbeley Cruise into paradise. During these 7 days Craig photographed the Team and Guests Fishing, Dining, Relaxing, Mud Crabbing, Croc Spotting, Swimming in exclusive water holes and staring into the most amazing sunsets!
